Expertly sculpted by Dean Kendrick, this striking piece combines the timeless beauty of foundry bronze with the sleek elegance of stainless steel. The two powerful stags are cast in solid bronze, while the intricately detailed riverbank base—complete with flowing water and rugged rock formations—is crafted from stainless steel, creating a unique and contemporary interpretation of a classic wildlife scene.

Measuring 12.5cm (H) x 30cm (W) x 10.5cm (D) and weighing 1.2kg, The Rut is a Limited Edition of just 150 pieces, making it a highly collectible work of art.

Each sculpture is individually created using the ancient lost wax casting process. The bronze stags are finished using the traditional art of patination, where carefully applied acids and heat produce a rich, deep brown finish. The stainless steel base receives an antique-effect treatment, and both materials are hand-sealed with a protective wax that enhances their natural beauty while preserving the sculpture for years to come.

Presented in a beautifully printed presentation box, The Rut includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity. Each sculpture is engraved with Dean Kendrick's signature and its individual limited edition number, matching the certificate, ensuring its authenticity and collectable value.
